Entering the Unlock Code

The unlock code is your registration key, a long sequence of characters that is used to convert the trial version of Folder Password Protect into a full version. The unlock code is not the folder password and cannot unprotect locked folders.

Steps to enter the unlock code

1. Select the unlock code you received by email and copy it to the clipboard (press Ctrl+C, or use the Edit > Copy command).

2. Run Folder Password Protect (Start > All Programs > Folder Password Protect > Folder Password Protect) and click Run Trial Version on the splash screen.

3. Click the "Buy the Full Version - $39.95" link at the bottom of the Folder Password Protect window.

4. Click Next to skip the "Order the Full Version Online" screen (you already have the unlock code).

5. Enter the unlock code by clicking the Paste From the Clipboard button.

6. Click on the Register button.
